Rules
  1. Exhibitors please submit ONE LIST
  2. No baking or preserved products accepted after 12:00 noon Thursday.
  3. Judging to begin at 1:00 p.m. Doors will be closed and no one shall be admitted until the judging is complete.
  4. No ready mixes to be used in any baking.
  5. Please use clear plastic bags where possible. All loaves in plastic bags, tied.
  6. Baking products will be judged on Flavour - 50%, Appearance - 50%. Pies and Tarts, Flavour -20%, Crust & Filling 80%
  7. The Baking must meet the quality as per Judges Expertise (i.e.) One Entry In A Class, Doesn’t Automatically grant you 1st prize.
  8. No Paper Liners.
  9. If more than 6 entries in any class, 4th prize will be given same as third.
  10. Exhibitor can only make one entry and receive one prize in each section.
  11. EXHIBIT HALL WILL CLOSE DAY OF FAIR AT 4:45 P.M., SATURDAY. Re-open at 5:30 p.m. NO ENTRIES to be picked up before 5:30 p.m. The Committee will not be responsible for exhibits after 6:00 p.m.
  12. No Cakes to be in original baking dish.

Terms and Conditions of
Country Fair Baking Contest
  1. All entrants into contest MUST submit entries that were made using the sponsors products.
  2. A PRODUCT LABEL must accompany EACH ENTRY, as proof of purchase.
  3. All entries will be judged on appearance, taste, texture and creativity of recipe and presentation. Decision of the Judge is final.
  4. All winners names and addresses must be submitted with each entry.
  5. All 1st place winners must submit a recipe, proof of purchase, photograph  and signed release form giving permission to the Sponsor for the use of the winner's name and photograph in any advertising or publicity without payment.
  6. The Fairs will forward signed release forms, recipes and photographs for the 1st place winners along with a list of all the names and addresses for 2nd and 3rd place winners. The Fair will be responsible for distribution to individual winners. Other gift prizes, store coupons and ribbons will be sent prior to the Fair in our Fair Contest Kit.

13. Fleishman's Yeast Best Bread Contest: Chelsea Buns - 8 or 9 inch round base. Yeast label or envelope must accompany entry. Recipe to be included. Judged on taste, texture and creativity of recipe and presentation.

14. Tenderflake Pie Baking Contest: Peach Pie (one Slice)- A label must accompany entry as proof of purchase. All entries will be judged on appearance, taste, texture and creativity of recipe and presentation. Recipe must accompany entry.
