Virtual Homecraft Competition

The Homecraft Division has been busy coming up with a list of categories that will showcase a vast assortment of creative and artistic projects.

 

For each category, we will be awarding first place winners (only) with a gift card from one of our many local businesses who have supported the Bobcaygeon Fall  Fair in the past.

Please have a look and see if there is a category below that you would be able to participate in!

Rules of the Competition

  • All items entered must be the property of the exhibitor

  • All items entered must be created or grown during the current year

  • All entries should include your name, phone number and the associated section and category (e.g., Crochet - Shawl)

  • Entries should be sent as follows:

  • Only 1st place winners in each category will receive the prize listed in the section

  • Gift certificates will be mailed out to the 1st place winners after October 8th

Fresh Vegetables

  • 1/2 Dozen Potatoes (named, may be different varieties)

  • Most Unusual Shaped Vegetable

  • Best Sunflower Head (with seeds, include measurement of the width of the sunflower head)

  • Display of Ontario Fruits and/or Vegetables (in container no larger than 20" diameter, must be from your own garden, including 10 or more varieties)

  • Grouping of Heritage (Heirloom) Vegetables (name different varietites, must be displayed in a basket or container and grown from your own garden)

  • 6 Gourds (different varieties, displayed in a basket)
